Every now and then, my inbox lights up with a message from an influencers that starts like this:

“Hey! We’d love to collaborate — can we stay for free in exchange for content?”

It’s a nice thought. But here’s the truth — Vegas Glamping wasn’t built for influencers.

It was built for real people who need peace, adventure, and authenticity… not a backdrop for their next reel.

We Built This Desert Dream — The Hard Way

When I was hauling concrete blocks through 115-degree desert heat, I wasn’t daydreaming about hashtags or free stays. I was thinking about plumbing lines, solar panels, and whether I could feel my arms anymore. I was thinking about a guest who just needed a break from life and thinking, “I hope they will be comfy in their beds. Hope these sheets are cozy for them. Comfy chairs to watch the stars at night.”

Every tent, bathroom, and deck here was built by hand.

Every string light, every plank of wood, and every stone in our path has a story behind it.

Early at work, building tents before guests arrive

Now, imagine this:

I walk up to my guys while they’re covered in dust, tools in hand, and say, “Hey — can you build this entire tent for free? I’ll take a picture of you and tag you on my Instagram. My audience will totally see your hard work — it’ll lead to so much more exposure!”

Yeah… I can already hear them laughing. 😂 Or more likely, walking off the job and telling me to take a selfie of me building this myself for my gram!

That’s basically what it feels like when someone asks to “collaborate” and stay here for free.

We don’t do that. Because this isn’t a content trade — it’s a labor of love.
