Vegas Glamping Check In Policy

Vegas Glamping offers a unique, secluded desert experience. To ensure our guests are well-prepared for their stay, please review our transportation and location policy carefully.

Location

1. Vegas Glamping is situated in a remote and secluded area, providing an authentic desert experience.

2. Our location is only accessible by off-road vehicles due to the terrain.

3. There is limited to no cell coverage at the parking area. Download your map ahead of time.

Access Requirements

1. Off-Road Vehicles:

– Guests with off-road vehicles can drive directly to their camp spot. You still need to schedule a time to check in with a host. Vegas Glamping offers Jeep Rentals so you can drive down to your camp spot. Jeep pick up is available just off the Strip.

– Please inform us in advance if you plan to use your own off-road vehicle.

2. Standard Vehicles:

– Guests with standard vehicles cannot drive directly to their camp spot.

– Two parking options are available (see “Parking” section below).

– Shuttle service is provided from parking areas to the camp.

Parking Options

1. Main Parking Area:

– Located immediately off US-165 on a dirt parking area.

– Requires a shuttle ride of approximately 7 minutes to reach the camp.

2. Secondary Parking Area:

– Located closer to the property.

– Requires a shuttle ride of approximately 4 minutes to reach the camp.

– Alternatively, guests can walk to the camp in about 5-20 minutes, depending on where your tent is located.

3. Park where the green Jeep is in the photo below. Do NOT go off-roading on the road in front of it. Do NOT go driving down the road to the left. Do NOT go exploring down the trail to the right. Do NOT go past this parking spot along the paved road because you’re not sure where to go. Where the green Jeep is: that’s your parking spot. There is no cell service right here.  Park and wait right there, the host will arrive on your scheduled time. 

 

Shuttle Service

1. Operating Hours:

– The shuttle operates from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily, scheduled in advance. It does not drive around the camp site to drive you around. It is scheduled to take you to your tent for check in and take you to your car for check out. 9pm means that at 9pm, we are closed and gone home. Staff will not be working overtime to accommodate late checks ins. Please plan your trip in advance to include traffic, bathroom breaks, getting lost, driving past the exit, driving past the pinned location, your phone dying, stopping for snacks. 

– No shuttle service is available outside these hours.

– The shuttle is only here for check in and check out. It does not drive around the camp site otherwise. If you require in and out, you will need to walk to your tent to parking. Rent our Jeeps and drive in and out at your leisure.

2. Scheduling:

– Guests must schedule shuttle rides in advance.

– If you miss your scheduled check in time, there is a $29 fee to reschedule your check in. This includes traffic, getting lost, stopping for snacks or bathroom.

– Please contact our guest concierge to arrange your shuttle transportation.

– Late fees will apply for each reschedule or late arrivals.

– Please note that your host drives 45 minutes to help you check in for your scheduled time. They do not live at the campsite and they do not sit in a parking lot. If you are more than 10 minutes past your check in time, they will leave to assist other guests. There is a $29 fee to reschedule.

– A minimum of two hours advance notice is required to check in.

– We are not responsible for guests failing to read procedures, not answering texts or getting lost.

3. Frequency:

– Shuttles run by appointment during operating hours.

– Wait times may vary depending on demand.

 Important Reminders

1. Plan your arrival and departure times within shuttle operating hours (6:00 AM to 9:00 PM).

2. If you arrive past 9pm, we are closed and you will need to come back the next day after 6am. There are no refunds for being late or missing your check in time.

2. Schedule your  arrival time with at least two hours notice so we can ensure prompt shuttle service.

3. If you plan to arrive outside shuttle hours, please contact us in advance to make special arrangements.

4. Remember, standard vehicles cannot access the camp area directly under any circumstances.
